The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has Issued a Announcement notification on 15 June 2020 regarding the conduct of the examination for CA Final and CA IPCC in this time of coronavirus pandemic.
Highlights of Announcement on CA Exams May’20
In this Announcement The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has laid down that due to the coronavirus pandemic hardship faced by students regarding availability of centers for examinations and their well being.
ICAI has decided to provide an Opt-out Scheme for the students who are not willing to take this examination in the month of July 2020.
Accordingly the students who are not willing to take examination in the month of July 2020 can opt for carry forward of their exams to next examinations i.e. November 2020.
The Examination fees paid by the students shall also be carried forward and adjusted towards in the next examinations.
The candidates who does not opts for opt out scheme can appear in the examinations in the month of July 2020, which are conducting from 29 July onwards.
ICAI will make all the necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examinations.
FAQs on Opt out Scheme
After Issuance of Announcement notification on 15 June 2020, ICAI has received queries and observations from many of the students, members and the other stakeholders.
Therefore to resolve the queries, the ICAI has decided to Issue FAQs on the said examinations and opt out scheme for the students.
